What is an EMDR and Mindfulness Intensive?

It is a personalized treatment format, designed to help move you through concerns, negative thoughts, and symptoms you are currently experiencing. A focused approach that allows you to process and heal by hitting the target in a prolonged setting.

Why do an EMDR and Mindfulness Intensive?

If you feel the traditional therapy model has failed you and you are ready for something different for your mental health

You have experienced a painfully traumatic situation.

You want to use it as a mental health day for yourself

What are the advantages of the Intensive?

The format allows for less time, money, and waiting to be spent. All while delivering the results you are looking for. Many people choose an intensive because they’re in pain, and they don’t want to wait weeks, months, or years to find relief and improve their lives. An intensive is a more efficient, effective, and evolved way to do therapy.

Are Intensives covered by insurance?

We recommend you reach out to your insurance customer service representative and ask about extended therapy reimbursement for your specific policy.

How does an Intensive work?

Before any work, we meet for a Pre-Intensive meeting to set up goals, look at your life now, and see how you are currently coping with your stressor. We will identify what is in your way as well as what the Intensive can do for you.

During the Intensive itself, we will go through ways to decrease your pain while connecting more to your thoughts and feelings regarding those memories. We will go through EMDR exercises as well as mindfulness and Somatic skills to help in the moment and when we are done.

After the Intensive, we will meet for a Post- Intensive meeting, and discuss any insights or shifts, what was most meaningful to you, and ways to help you going forward.

What are the fees for Intensives?

Personalized Intensives are a multi hour extended form of therapy that are typically between $300-$400 an hour. They may be eligible for partial reimbursement from your Out of Network benefits.

Intensive packages (intake session + 3-hr intensive session+follow up) start at $900
